AI Will Lead You Through Life

What happens when everything you do is in ChatGPT's memory?

Each week, I embark on a journey through the realm of artificial intelligence, delving into the latest tools that pique my curiosity. I conduct intriguing experiments, unraveling the mysteries they hold, and gather fascinating insights from the world around me to share with you.

🔧 Three Tools I’m Testing

🪑LegoGPT - A text to Lego design trained on a number of set design types. It looks like a ton of fun as it continues to expand its capabilities.

📽️ Hunyuan Custom - Consistent subject video generation model from Tencent. I played around with it, but it's not a tool I’ll look to use on a regular basis.

🖼️ Replicate Flux 1.1 Pro Ultra - Flux image model for creating beautiful landscapes (and other stuff) at 4MP resolutions, which is tough to find. I will be expanding my usage of this Flux model and other ones on Replicate for some projects moving forward.

🧪 AI Experiment of The Week

One of my jobs is working with our marketing site at Losant. We’ve built everything on top of Hubspot (and love it), but I want to create a development pipeline using some external vibe coding tools to create landing pages and other content. In my ideal world, I’d be able to integrate my Hubspot templates and modules into the pipeline.

In my attempt to continue testing these vibe coding tools. I’m trying to build out some landing pages for Losant with v0.dev this week. I’m learning a bit about how v0 develops, and I like the tech stack and approach. One of my initial prompts is below (enhanced by v0).

Develop a landing page for Losant, targeting product managers interested in building new IoT products for remotely monitoring industrial assets and equipment. The page should highlight Losant's key advantages in this context. The design should be inspired by losant.com and specifically the losant.com/platform page, focusing on a clean, professional aesthetic. The content should address the challenges product managers face in developing these solutions, such as scalability, security, and ease of integration, and how Losant's platform addresses these issues. Include sections that showcase Losant's features, benefits, and potential use cases within the industrial IoT space. The page should be optimized for conversions, encouraging product managers to learn more or request a demo.

The output got me something to work with. This is what it looked like.

The output from v0

I’d love to add v0 to my workflow need to figure out my integrations for the Hubspot CMS.

📰 Article of The Week

Elon Musk's xAI has blamed "unauthorized prompt changes" for causing its Grok chatbot to generate a controversial rant about "white genocide," highlighting the vulnerability of AI systems to malicious tampering and raising serious questions about security protocols and oversight in AI development.

“This is the second time unauthorized changes to Grok’s code have made the chatbot respond in controversial ways: Earlier this year, Musk was forced to revert unapproved changes after Grok was found to be censoring unflattering mentions of President Trump and Musk, himself. Grok was also recently blasted by an independent study, which found its safety measures to be “very weak,” after Musk failed to meet a self-imposed deadline to publish an AI safety framework.” - The AI Report

The Grok incident is like a canary in the AI coal mine – warning us of dangers that extend far beyond one company's security protocols. What truly concerns me isn't just today's obvious blunders but tomorrow's subtle manipulations. As these systems become our trusted advisors in finance, healthcare, and education, prompt security deserves the same priority as database protection or network security. The most effective propaganda won't announce itself with inflammatory rants; it will slowly shift perspectives through barely perceptible biases woven into seemingly neutral responses. Unless the industry develops robust safeguards, transparent auditing, and clear accountability now, we risk building an AI ecosystem where trust, once lost, may never fully recover.

🌎 Where the World is Going

We're witnessing the birth of true AI partnership – not just assistants who follow commands but agents who actively drive outcomes alongside us. As these systems gain access to our complete digital histories, they're transforming from simple tools into something far more profound: cognitive companions that understand the whole narrative of our lives. We’re not there yet, and I don’t know if this is a three-year or a ten-year journey.

"This model can reason across your whole context and do it efficiently. And every conversation you've ever had in your life, every book you've ever read, every email you've ever read, everything you've ever looked at is in there, plus connected to all your data from other sources. And your life just keeps appending to the context," Sam Altman described, painting a picture of AI that doesn't just know our data but understands our inner being.

I experienced this shift firsthand last month when I used AI to tackle two critical RFPs that would normally have taken weeks. The system didn't just search through my documents – it synthesized insights from scattered research, unearthed forgotten proposals, and connected disparate ideas across years of work. In days, not weeks, we delivered comprehensive proposals that felt more cohesive than what my team could have assembled manually. The magic wasn't in the speed, though that was impressive. It was in how the AI resurrected valuable ideas I'd forgotten entirely and wove them into something new. It wasn't mimicking my thinking; it was extending it.

The question isn't whether these agents will transform business - that's already begun. The real question is whether we're ready for the personal transformation that comes with having a lifetime companion who remembers everything, sees patterns we miss, and grows alongside us through every experience we share. That's not just a tool - that's a partner.
